BMS completes Phase 2 testing of recycled wood-composite panels, achieving structural performance above industry standard with measurable carbon offset.
BMS 2020 Thailand has achieved a significant milestone in its mission to transform construction waste into valuable materials. The BCG Material Research Center has completed Phase 2 testing of recycled wood-composite panels, demonstrating structural performance that meets or exceeds conventional materials while delivering measurable carbon offset.
The testing program, conducted over six months, evaluated compression strength, fire resistance, thermal performance, and long-term durability. Results show that REWO Technology panels achieve 45-62 MPa compression strength — well above the industry standard for structural boards.
"This validates our core thesis," said the BMS research team. "You don't have to choose between performance and sustainability. The data proves it."
The next phase involves scaling production at the manufacturing facility and onboarding commercial partners for real-world deployment.
